The show is off until mid-July.
It returns as an online-only show,
accessible to all
Tonight on Radio Firefox I have a great show for you. I will be going over the Democrats’ election win, and what they hope to accomplish. I will also cover some of the NJ race. The Spotlight on Security will cover Mozilla and Microsoft security updates. And there is some interesting developments happening in the SGA and Dining Services Committee.
I will be editing the show out of order, and hopefully having it up by Monday. It is just too important not to put online.

Today I noticed that there was something wrong with the script that enabled the episode audio to be either played or downloaded. I have since fixed the code and it should all be working again. I don’t know how long it hasn’t been working, but hopefully this fix will be permanent. If you notice the audio not working again please let me know.

Here are some of the topics for tonights episode: marketing tips, getting the most out of your Google Calendar, useful Firefox extensions, StarCraft 2 rumors, TCNJ news and upcoming events. As you can see it’s pretty diverse, and as I receive feedback I will tailor the episodes to the tastes of my listeners. Two things I plan to have more of this semester are Firefox related content and TCNJ news.
Remember to tune in to 91.3 FM in the Trenton, NJ area. And the episode will be online within a week. A regular timeframe will be created shortly, so you know when to expect shows to be online
I am also hoping to have one of the last two episodes from last semester up by tomorrow. Followed shortly by the last episode, and then tonights episode.

You may have noticed that the site layout has been completely revamped. With this new design comes an amazing playlist system that enables you to scroll through songs and click on any of them to hear a song sample. You can also view the album’s listing on Amazon.com.
There is also a new countdown mechanism that should enable a more accurate display of how long it will be until the next episode airs. And lastly, I have finally setup the contact form I have been talking about for months.
The new show will be on-air Thursdays from 9pm to 12am, starting August 31st. Copies of the shows will be online within a few days of the original airing, with songs removed. Though with the new playlist you will be able to hear samples of most songs played.
I hope this new website will be well received, and I am looking forward to a great season. Feel free to contact me anytime. I should have the two remaining episodes from last season online in a few days.
I’ve long been unhappy with the script I had running this site, so I have integrated it with Wordpress. Already that has allowed me to put up a poll, and you can expect more polls and new features based around them. I am either going to integrate the previous layout with this new setup, or I might create a more custom design. But for now the site should work correctly. I have to re-integrate the playlists, and tweak the design a lot. If you encounter any glitches let me know in the comments here.
The coming improvements should allow me to more easily manage the site, cut down on spam, and add features as listeners request them. There will finally be a form for you to submit show topics and feedback.
And while we’re waiting, why is it that you visit this site? What do you like/dislike about the show?
This episode is a recording of the Wed, February 22nd show from 12am to 3am. This is the original recording, with minor editing.
In this episode John Resig of jQuery fame calls in to talk about topics that include: Campfire, Google Talk, Google, Digg clones, Social applications, Web 2.0, and various projects he and his company Juniper Bay are working on. He has a professional Javascript book due to come out in October.
