The show is off until mid-July.
It returns as an online-only show,
accessible to all
There are ten more shows to edit before I begin a weekly live show. I will be editing those shows furiously starting Tuesday and will have them done very soon. Once they are edited and posted you will be able to listen to them. Each show you listen to helps me make some money since ads are inserted into the broadcast. This money helps keep me motivated to run the show.
Once all previously recorded shows are online Radio Firefox will be going live online. This will initially consist of one 15-30 min show each week. The show will cover the latest tech news and Firefox tips. Apple news is being split off into its own show, as will the business news once the Apple show is going well. The Apple show will be called AppleWatch Live and it will be tied in with my AppleWatch blog.
The biggest concern to me is the time of the shows. I will need to set a time that works for both myself and listeners. Whether it be a weekend, beginning of the week, middle of the week, or end of the week. So initially the timeslots will be tentative, and can be changed based on feedback.
Keep checking here for updates and new shows. The shows I have been posting lately have been great, with better production quality. And the new live shows will be even better since I don’t have to play music or break for radio station announcements. TalkShoe rocks.

I have finally posted another show from the first season of Radio Firefox. I decided not to post the one after it because there wasn’t much substance to it. That concludes the first season, and I will soon begin posting the last season that was on the air. You will also find new live shows being started before that last season is online completely. So stay tuned.
You will notice that I am now using TalkShoe to distribute my shows, and once my archived shows are up I will be able to host live shows online using TalkShoe. They pay me based on how many people listen to my shows because they place advertising in it. I’m hoping this will allow me to make enough money for it to be worthwhile to keep running the show.
I am also redirecting the podcast feed to the one hosted by TalkShow, so you should have found out about the new show if you are still subscribed to the feed.

Tonight’s show will be the last one that is live on-air on WTSR 91.3FM. I wish I had known sooner, and this definitely puts a damper on things.
In the coming month I will be editing my old shows and putting them online. I will also be figuring out a way to run the show as a podcast. It will be live if I can find a way, otherwise it will be pre-recorded. I plan to get better content, more interviews and call-ins from professionals, and keep a consistent schedule (weekly or biweekly).
The show will go on. You can count on that.

If you are seeing this then you are on the new server. Expect the backlog of shows to be uploaded over the next month or so. The live radio show is taking a break until the middle of January, and in that time I will be updating the site and rolling out a few new features.

Tonight on Radio Firefox I have a great show for you. I will be going over the Democrats’ election win, and what they hope to accomplish. I will also cover some of the NJ race. The Spotlight on Security will cover Mozilla and Microsoft security updates. And there is some interesting developments happening in the SGA and Dining Services Committee.
I will be editing the show out of order, and hopefully having it up by Monday. It is just too important not to put online.

Today I noticed that there was something wrong with the script that enabled the episode audio to be either played or downloaded. I have since fixed the code and it should all be working again. I don’t know how long it hasn’t been working, but hopefully this fix will be permanent. If you notice the audio not working again please let me know.
